Jazz
Jazz dance is often characterised by an energetic mood, accents and isolation. Dancers find their own style, develop rhythmical accuracy and nail their "jazz hands". Students at Accent can participate in multiple ability levels of jazz technique classes along with having the opportunity to perform jazz in competitions and concerts through our performance troupes.
Musical Theatre Jazz
Our musical theatre jazz classes allow students to explore the world of performance in a theatrical style of jazz. The classes focus on learning combos to a variety of our favourite musicals whilst also incorporating basic jazz technique. Students are given the opportunity to learn to connect to the characters and music to tell a story and express themselves through their performance.
