 FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Do I have to audition?
Yes – all AOD Elite programs require a short audition (in person or via video) to ensure training level is suitable.

Can I study both Certificate III in Dance and Assistant Dance Teaching?

Yes, you can! While we generally recommend completing one course at a time to get the most out of your training, we can absolutely accommodate students who wish to complete both. Our team will guide and support you to ensure you can manage the workload successfully.

How is the Part-Time Program different from a casual class schedule?
It’s a structured 3-day program with intentional, progressive training. Think of it as pre-professional preparation, not drop-in classes.

What if I still want to work or study part-time?
Many of our Part-Time dancers balance casual work or uni with training — we’ll help you make it manageable.

Do I need to be part of Accent On Dance’s after-school classes or Performance Troupes to join AOD Elite?
No! AOD Elite is open to dancers from all backgrounds. You do not need to be enrolled in Accent On Dance’s after-school classes or Performance Troupes—if you have the drive, talent, and commitment, you can apply.
